With Rick Grimes and the gang currently residing inside a train car at Terminus, the major question going into season 5 is “How will Rick’s Group escape the train car?”
We got a little insight into that during a behind-the-scenes interview that AMC released.
Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead, had this to say about the escape:
“It’s going to be messy, and it’s going to be brutal. It’s going to be thrilling, how these guys get out of this scrape.”
Executive producer David Alpert shed even a little more light onto what will happen in season 5:
“They’re going to have to find a way to rebuild and regroup. How that happens and what happens to the dynamic of these characters is really anybody’s guess. But I can tell you, they are battle-hardened and ready for anything. Season five is going to be even better than season four.”
After the extremes that we saw some of the characters going to in order to survive up to this point, for members of the cast and crew of the show to say that it will be brutal and thrilling says a lot. It has already been said that season 5 of The Walking Dead will feature much more action than season 4 did. That should appease some fans who felt that last season was a bit slow or boring.
The options as to who will come to save the day for the group seem quite limited at this point, but I’m curious what you guys think will end up happening to the folks trapped inside that train car at Terminus.
So, what is your theory on how the gang will escape from the train car?
