Here is my review of the second episode from the third series of The Walking Dead webisodes series “The Oath” titled Choice.

This episode didn’t feature as much action and carnage as the first in “The Oath”, but Alone sure helped move the story along a lot.
Introducing Gale was important. Her role in the upkeep and management of the medical facility was essential in Karina and Paul finding the medical facility to start to treat his wounds.
Gale saving Karina and Paul in the supply closet was strange. For someone who seems so emotional and caring toward the living, she showed absolutely no remorse for taking out a walker in a violent fashion.
I don’t believe that Gale is a doctor. She didn’t seem to do anything to really help Paul out and she seemed rather intent on getting rid of him as soon as possible. She incorrectly (and possibly on purpose) diagnosed Paul’s illness as fatal.
The coolest part of Choice is that they bring in the tie in from The Walking Dead television show. The door in the medical facility that was boarded off looks to be the same one that Rick Grimes encounters. Even though the writing and the chains are not on the door, it sure seems to be the same hallway and doorway.
The way the episode ended is pretty intense. It left Paul in a rather awful spot where he’s got to find a way to escape from the restraints on the bed or become a rolling buffet for a hoard of walkers. It will be interesting to see how he gets out of this very sticky situation.
