Does The Walking Dead 5B Poster Hint At Negan’s Debut?

A while back, fans of The Walking Dead were told by creator Robert Kirkman that the character of Negan wasn’t coming for a while to the hit AMC television show.  But eagle-eyed fans of the show spotted something in the most recent poster for the second half of The Walking Dead’s fifth season that could hint at his arrival.

Here is an image from the comics of the facility where Negan stays.  The building is a tall structure with outside stairs.  There are human/walker heads on poles and a fence surrounding the facility.  Most importantly, note the three rounded smokestacks at the top of the building.

Now, take a look at the promotional poster for The Walking Dead’s second half of season 5. In the top left corner, there are some smokestacks covered in fog or haze of a building that could be shown to represent Negan’s home compound.

Sure, it could be a coincidence that the poster has those kind of smokestacks in the background, but The Walking Dead usually doesn’t do much in their posters that isn’t leading up to something on the show.

This could also be a tease to get people to talk about the poster without actually unveiling Negan or even The Saviors in the second half of season 5.  It’s possible that the group will enter the region where Negan controls without actually introducing the character himself until either the end of the season or just teasing at his inclusion to lead into season 6.

So what do you guys think?  Does this mean that Negan is coming?  Are they just showing that the group is entering the area where Negan’s base is?  Or is this just a coincidence?  Discuss it in the comments below.
