Fear The Walking Dead is right around the corner from premiering — which would make it nice to know when exactly that is.

When The Walking Dead heads to San Diego Comic-Con later at the beginning of July, the series is bringing along it’s sister series, Fear The Walking Dead. What this is going to create is a weekend full of zombie action and hopefully some great tidbits about both series currently in production.

Really, when it comes to Fear The Walking Dead there is one thing that fans want: a premiere date.

We’ve seen set photos, a few different trailers and a series poster, as well as casting information and teases about the arc of the show. But what we haven’t seen is a premiere date, or at least an exact premiere date.

The series is scheduled to hit AMC in late August — which is more specific then it has to be but still really vague. From what we know, the show has already filmed most of it’s episodes and is ready to at least air a half season of shows. When that will all begin is still a mystery to fans and it’s hopefully something that gets sorted out at SDCC in two weeks.

It would make more than a ton of sense for Fear The Walking Dead to reveal it’s premiere date in San Diego inside of Hall H, as there’s no grander fanboy stage in the world to hand out that information. Then again, this series has been every bit the mystery it has to be in order to stay ahead of fans looking for spoilers, so it would’t be all that surprising to not hear a premiere date announced.

Still, Comic-Con is the land of fanboy announcements like this, and an official hard start date for Fear The Walking Dead is more than likely going to come at Comic-Con in San Diego next mont.
