Sonequa Martin-Green: 2 firsts in 1 day

Sonequa Martin-Green who plays sharpshooter Sasha on The Walking Dead just celebrated 2 fun firsts on August 12th.

She was apparently enjoying some time away from work with her husband Kenric Green at Disneyland. Kenric shared a photo of Sonequa on Instagram, revealing that this was actually her first time visiting the popular theme park. How cute!

And on her inaugural visit to Disneyland, she experienced yet another first. She shared her first Periscope broadcast as she and Kenric rode the famous Teacups at the park. The gorgeous actress was seen giggling as her pretty hair flipped back and forth while she spun in the Teacup. Speaking of gorgeous, you could even overhear a compliment she received about her cute shoes. Fashion and Disneyland are certainly not mutually exclusive!

I think it’s so much fun when cast members give us a peek into their off-screen lives. Sonequa joins the ranks of other actors like Josh McDermitt and Jordan Woods-Robinson in using Periscope to connect with fans. Thanks for the peek into your special day, Sonequa!
