AMC’s The Walking Dead is only 9 days from the season 6 premiere, but if you’re already looking forward to the rest of the episodes going forward, the episode title and synopsis for the second installment of season six is already available.

This episode will face a major challenge, as following the season premiere is always a difficult thing for this show.  The season 6 premiere is 90 minutes long and is said to be one of the biggest and most explosive season openers yet.  So, what do we know about the second episode?

Here’s what we know so far:

The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 2

The Walking Dead - AMC
The Walking Dead – AMC /

Episode title:  “JSS”

  • US Air Date:  October 18, 2015
  • Channel and time:  AMC at 9/8 c
  • Written by:  Seth Hoffman
  • Directed by:  Jennifer Lynch
  • Episode Synopsis:  “When it appears that things are starting to normalize in the settlement, a new problem arises for the Alexandrians.”
  • This episode will be 60 minutes long and makes it sound like some external force will become a big problem after trying to settle things down inside the walls of Alexandria.  Right now, we’re not sure if the “new problem” on The Walking Dead will be The Wolves or something else, but we do know that whatever it is should make a major impact on the survivors.

Personally, I’m more than excited to see what is next for Rick Grimes and the rest of the gang in Alexandria.  There should be some fantastic scenes now that Lennie James is back to play the role of Morgan and his ideologies seem to clash with those of Rick.  Hopefully, this “new problem” forces them to work together and kick some undead butt when the second episode of The Walking Dead‘s sixth season airs.
