James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction to feature The Walking Dead

AMC has ordered the series James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction, which will look into pop culture such as The Walking Dead, Avatar, and Star Wars.
A recent press release from AMC revealed the network would be picking up the series James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction, which could be great news for fans of The Walking Dead looking to learn more about science fiction roots.
James Cameron has become a household name after writing and directing blockbuster motion pictures like Aliens, Titanic, The Terminator, The Abyss, True Lies, and many others. Now, his team will turn their attention to the world of sci-fi for a new documentary series looking into the origins of pop culture tropes.
The press release specifically named The Walking Dead as one of the ‘cornerstones in pop culture’. That means that one episode will likely be based around the idea of the dead coming back to life, which would be a lot of fun to explore the roots of and look into other meanings behind.

As of the release, there is no information regarding a premiere date for James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction or when the episode devoted to zombies and The Walking Dead will air, but it is definitely something interesting for fans of the undead to keep their eyes on for the future.
