#2. Is the letter ‘A’ actually significant?

One of the most peculiar things about The Walking Dead is how some concepts are repeated with no real explanation for them other than a huge coincidence. However, one of them is the use of the letter ‘A’.

This letter has been used all over the place. It was written on the train car that the survivors were held in at Terminus, The Hunters wrote the letter on the side of Father Gabriel’s church, Sam Anderson stamped people hands with the letter, it was written on Daryl’s sweater in The Sanctuary, and it could be found on the hand rail of Alexandria.

With all those uses, it is difficult to think that this is a coincidence. While it likely has nothing to do with the show itself, it could be a talking point or something that the people of AMC wanted to include in their story for their own pleasure.

Don’t expect to see any kind of explanation for the letter ‘A’ showing up, but odds are that it could make another appearance soon on the show, as it seems to be something that the hit program loves using on a regular basis.
