Fear The Walking Dead, The Unveiling: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) This episode gets its name from Walker explaining (Correctly, I might add) the definition of the word “Apocalypse”: The [great] unveiling.
14) Jeremiah’s meeting with Ofelia in the storage bunker is, obviously, the first acknowledgement of their meeting in “Wrath”.
15) Jeremiah offering to bring food to Ofelia (Which she doesn’t want) while being captive is reminiscent to the situation Daniel found himself in at the Abigail hacienda in Season Two’s “Shiva”.
16) Additionally, Jeremiah mentions “old business” but, we don’t what, specifically, that is. Ironically, for an episode titled “The Unveiling”, this remains…veiled.
17) Nick saying he’s “suicide proof” likely stems from his knack for surviving his heroin use and, perhaps, from all the times he ventured amongst the infected and survived.
18) The militia (among others) being afflicted (With what’s later revealed to be anthrax) seems like it may be a reference to an infamous case of biological warfare used by the British during The French And Indian War.
