#3. How long can peace be kept?

Turns out that peace couldn’t even last through the back-to-back episodes of the midseason premiere. Plenty of squabbles and problem arose between the people of the ranch and the reservation, and none of them were resolved.

Troy Otto led a one-man rebellion against the new arrivals, resulting in his exile from the group. Another person from the ranch drew a gun on someone from the Black Hat as an act of revenge for the death of the Trimbol family, which was actually done by Troy Otto.

Fighting also broke out over the water. Rationing led to the groups attempting to hoard supplies of the valuable resource, and it ended up with people getting accused of taking the water they didn’t have the right to and a standoff where guns were drawn to protect the resource.

Not only that, but a massive division happened when the two groups had military-like units ready to attack each other but ended up working together to dig a hole where the diviner had found water with her rods.
