19) This episode shares a title with the second-to-last episode of Season Two of Fear The Walking Dead.

20) The title of this episode comes from Rick reciting the phrase (Originally said to Carl by Siddiq in the season premiere, “Mercy”): “My mercy prevails…over my wrath.

21) Incidentally, the close-up of a teary-eyed Rick is the same scene we saw at the beginning of midseason premiere episode, “Honor” as well as the end of the season premiere episode, the aforementioned “Mercy”.

22) After the battle, Dwight insists that “There’s no going back”. He’s the second person in the episode to make such a claim, however, just like Morgan before him, he is proven incorrect in that assessment.

23) Dwight not being left in charge of The Saviors is yet another major departure from the comics.

24) As we jump forward at the end of the episode, Morgan is, once again, wearing his beige/tan shirt. Is this a visual clue that Morgan is out of Crazytown? I mean, it did seem to be his garment of choice throughout Season Six, and before that, he wore a hooded jacket of a similar shade as he tried to relocate Rick in Season Five. Additionally, he wore that same jacket through the early part of Season Four of Fear The Walking Dead, and, as the season drew to a close, and he was pushed more the breaking point, he was wearing a blue jacket similar to the blue shirt he wore for most of this season, when he was in Crazytown.

25) Morgan’s words to Jadis, “Everything is about people. Everything in this life that’s worth a damn.” are the same words Dr. Eastman said to Morgan just before his death in the Season Six episode, “Here’s Not Here”.

26) Jadis reveals that her real name (Or, at least, her first name) is Anne.

27) Maggie and Jesus’s conversation at the end of the episode is…ominous. Are they going to become hostiles in Season Nine? Will they become hostiles after The Whisperers are dealt with?
