Beth’s Last Stand
Season 5 Episode 8 “Coda”
Beth was free of her captors at Grady and safely back in the arms of the squad when she felt like she had to confront Dawn about her demand to keep Noah at the hospital. Defiantly she shoved those scissors into Dawn’s neck but her attack wasn’t deadly enough to prevent Dawn from reflexively shooting her in the head. Beth managed to find her voice and her courage before she died, but in the end, Maggie lost the last of her family. RIP Beth.
Aiden Learns A Lesson
Season 5 Episode 12, “Remember”
As the group struggles to fit into Alexandria Deanna tries to find jobs for all them. After going on a run with Aiden and Nicholas that almost got Tara killed Glenn and Aiden disagree. When Aiden get an attitude Glenn knocks him down, Daryl attacks Nicholas, and it’s clear that the people of Alexandria have no idea what it takes to survive because they’ve been behind thick gates since the outbreak. It was satisfying to see Aiden get that smug look knocked off his face and it makes us miss Glenn more than ever. RIP Glenn.
