Jeffrey Dean Morgan, his wife Hilarie and their children lived in Rick Grimes’s Alexandria house on The Walking Dead set during the filming of “Here’s Negan.”

Hilarie Burton Morgan shared with Interview Magazine that their family lived in the set home during filming because of the pandemic. Today she posted some sweet family photos on her IG page. She is counting down until the premiere of “Here’s Negan” by the daily posting of BTS photos showcasing their memories of living on set. Be sure to follow her IG to see all the photos she shares.

The photos show the family exploring their temporary home, and she comments about walking the empty streets at night while walking their dogs, which made it feel like they really were living in an apocalypse. The children even enjoyed the playground equipment that had been destroyed in the Whisperer War.

Fans are excited to see the Morgan’s in action in the episode “Here’s Negan” that airs on April 4 on AMC. The couple has starred in other projects together, but this episode marks their first onscreen interactions. So far, the reactions to the episode have been positive.

Morgan shared some sneak peek photos of the episode on his own IG page. He shared the sweet sentiment that working with his wife in this episode has been the highlight of his career. AWWW!

Fans are ready to see this duo on screen. The back story of Negan and being able to meet the infamous Lucille is a highlight for many Walking Dead fans. We heard a little bit of their story when Negan “confessed” to Father Gabriel in season eight, but there is more to the story.

AMC will air The Walking Dead episode “Here’s Negan” on April 4.

AMC+ members will be able to stream this episode on April 1, no fooling!
