The Walking Dead’s eleventh and final season concluded the long-running story. The Milton family, Governor Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), and her spoiled pampered son, Sebastian (Teo Rapp-Olsson), are introduced in season 11.

In the comic, Sebastian is a hated character for killing Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). Since Rick is gone from the series, the question on many minds is, who will get Rick’s comic death? It is tough to say at this point, but it would seem pointless to waste this storyline. In a final season, no one is safe except those with a spin-off series deal, so it could prove interesting how or if this storyline will be played out on screen.

The introduction of Sebastian to the series showed an entitled, privileged, pompous jerk who expected everyone to do his bidding and for everyone to know exactly who he was, the governor’s son. He yelled at Eugene (Josh McDermitt) for saving his and his date’s life which ends with Eugene slugging him and getting into even more trouble than he already was.

Teo Rapp-Olsson – The Walking Dead

Teo Rapp-Olsson is the actor who portrays Sebastian Milton. Viewers never saw a redeeming quality about this character. He even takes credit for apprehending Tyler Davis, the ex-Commonwealth trooper involved in the resistance, without crediting Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), who actually caught him.

Sebastian used Mercer as his own private bodyguard, issuing his demands to the Commonwealth General as if he was a lowly soldier. It’s hard to understand how someone as tough and imposing as Mercer would stand for this treatment. But he tells Daryl that this is the best place he has found to live, and he can have a decent life if he can cut it. He also tells Daryl that it helps to set people up for a win now and again. It seems Mercer is giving Daryl good advice, don’t cross Sebastian.

The episode, aptly titled “The Rotten Core,” reveals Sebastian’s greedy, self-absorbed, rotten side. He sends Daryl and Rosita (Christian Serratos) on a suicide mission to find some cash, as Sebastian’s mother cut off his credit.  A woman named April (Wynn Everett) was killed because of his greed.

In the midseason finale, Connie (Lauren Ridloff) and her group, aided by Max (Margot Bingham), distributed a rogue publication to the Commonwealth residents. This information outed Sebastian and his evil ways. This would lead to much dissension within the Commonwealth.

Sebastian is found by Carol (Melissa McBride) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as he took the coward’s way out and hid from the citizens. He opted for this instead of facing up to the crimes he committed.

He would eventually be caught on tape by Max, showing his true colors. This tape would be aired for all to hear, and as Sebastian tried to manhandle Max, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) would shove a walker in his direction, which caused his death.

His mother didn’t want him put down but had him tied to a gurney and let him turn. Many viewers thought she would keep him à la the Governor (who kept his daughter Penny even after she turned). She would instead put her reanimated son in a cell with her enemy Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton). Hornsby would get the last word as he not only killed walker Sebastian but embedded his coveted coin inside Sebastian’s brain matter as a last “F” you to Pamela.

Teo Rapp-Olsson is known for his roles in Redrum, I Love You…But I lied, Deadbeat, Divorce, Z: The Beginning of Everything, Blue Bloods, Bull, The Deuce, Crashing, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He is also a stage actor who has appeared in several theater productions.

Next, he will star in a horror movie, Bury Me When I’m Dead.
