Fans of The Walking Dead universe have much to look forward to in 2023. Fear the Walking Dead will premiere part 1 of its eighth and final season on AMC on May 14. That will be followed by the debut of the first direct spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Dead City, in June.

Another highlight this year will be the debut of the Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) centric spinoff The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. This series is filmed and set in France, where Daryl will wash ashore without knowing how or why he is there. This week more cast members were announced, joining the previously announced  Clémence Poésy and Adam Nagaitis. The new members include Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, and Romain Levi. This series is expected to release in the second part of 2023.

Summit, the Rick (Andrew Lincoln), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) series will begin filming this week and will see a release date in 2024.
