The Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer: Where Is Beth Greene?

The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer was amazing.  We got to see action, adventure, drama, and so much more.  We got treated to an amazing sequence of scenes that made our hearts race and put our butts on the edge of the seat.

However, just when you think the trailer is over, we get treated to a really awkward section that feels totally different from the rest of the trailer.

This part involves Beth Greene, who disappeared during season 4 in an apparent abduction by a black car.  However, what is going on with her in the trailer doesn’t really give us any answers at all as to what is going on with Emily Kinney’s character for season 5.

So, there’s a woman in a uniform with a badge giving commands to beth along with puzzling statements that make no sense without the context to place with it.

Here’s what the possible police officer said to Beth in the clip:

"“Every sacrifice we make needs to be for the greater good. In here, you’re not the greater good, you’re part of a system.”"

Then, we get an odd scene with Beth looking down an elevator shaft with a flashlight.  No clue what she is looking for or why this shaft is important, but apparently it must be somewhat important to the story.

We also see Beth helping hold down a woman with a severe cut on her arm and what appears to be stitches being put into the arm.  Beth herself appears to have a cast on the same arm that the woman strapped down and being held is having worked on.  Perhaps this is something that is done to all residents wherever they are or it could just be a coincidence, but it is still very odd.

Of  course, it shows her in an encounter with what appears to be a walker that Beth Green shoots right in the head in a gory kill.  You can see the photo in the header of the this article.

The video ends with the woman in the uniform smacking beth in the head.
