The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus’ impersonators [VIDEO]

It’s a good time to be The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, but there are individuals who are cashing in on the actor’s signature look and sound.
Right now, there aren’t many celebrities in the world as hot as The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus. In addition to his role on AMC’s zombie survival drama, the actor who plays Daryl Dixon also stars in a show about him driving his motorcycle with his friends.

All this success has made him one of the most followed people in the world. With over 2.82 million followers on Twitter and over 6.3 million likes on Facebook, people are always hungry for more information about their favorite redneck survivor in the zombie apocalypse.
While that’s great for Norman, there are others that envy the star’s success. In fact, there are people out there who can earn a nice paycheck from being a professional Daryl Dixon impersonator.
Recently, Norman Reedus was a guest on the TBS program Conan where he discussed many things, but one of topics was the people out there who consider themselves to be professional impersonators of The Walking Dead‘s character.

It must feel strange for Reedus seeing someone doing impressions of his character. In fact, the character of Daryl Dixon is so close to the actual Norman Reedus that at times it must be awkward. However, they do say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, so he should be kind of honored.
Still, seeing a man with a business card who professionally impersonates a celebrity is amazing. Conan’s concern that these individuals may actually cast a poor light on the actor are valid, but Norman’s counter with the amount of attention they’d get from his celebrity likely outweighs the negatives…but the poor Conan impersonator may need a little help sealing the deal.

You can see Norman Reedus on his motorcycle show Ride With Norman Reedus which currently airs on AMC. In addition Reedus will return for season 7 of The Walking Dead on AMC this October.
