Jeffrey Dean Morgan to co-host Live with Kelly on Feb. 9th & 10th

Live with Kelly will feature Jeffrey Dean Morgan returning as co-host this Thursday, February 9th and Friday, February 10th.

According to Broadway World, Kelly Ripa will see everyone’s favorite new Walking Dead villain return to the set. Last time Morgan was on Live with Kelly, he discussed being a ‘gentleman farmer’. He also had a unique perspective on tanking an audition for an infamous soup opera based on Kelly and her husband’s advice, and how it potentially saved his career from a ‘golden jail’. Morgan spoke of how kind Kelly and her husband were to him at that soap opera test shoot almost 20 years ago.

Morgan then innocently mentioned having Thanksgiving with the wife then coming down to see her (Kelly Ripa), which to a trained Negan ear was quite Negan-like. Negan’s always looking to add extra wives after all. All jokes aside, Morgan’s latest appearance is just in time for The Walking Dead’s midseason premiere on Sunday. Will Morgan bring back the farm talk, discuss Easy Street, or hint at something else entirely?

Actor Will Arnett has also been announced as a guest on Live with Kelly (February 9th) to discuss the new Lego Batman film and actress Zosia Mamet will talk about the new Girls season on HBO. Will co-host Negan put the two guests on Easy Street or throw in a zinger or two Savior style?

It’s quite a revelation to think that Morgan’s career could have headed an entirely different direction via one audition. We might have never met Morgan as Negan if he had owned that soap opera audition. Morgan certainly did not sit around procrastinating in despair after the audition and got his career right on track.

Just a friendly Negan reminder, ‘not making a decision, is a big decision’. One of life’s best spoken advices in history spoken on the most popular TV show of the age. Just for that line delivery alone, you should be tuning in both days for Live with Kelly to hear what Jeffrey Dean Morgan has to say.
