Walking Dead Actors Love This Giant Peach

Some of the actors that work on The Walking Dead have arrived at the filming location in Georgia to begin work on season 5 of the hit television show.

We are lucky in this day and age to have technology to where we can keep up with our favorite actors and athletes in the world on a regular basis.  While Facebook is still mostly a technology to keep up with your friends, Twitter and Instagram have become favorites for those looking to stay in touch with an ever-growing fan base.

Here is a tweet from Lawrence Gilliard Jr.  He plays Bob on The Walking Dead.  He likes to keep his fans (Bob’s Army) in the know of what is going on:

Sonequa Martin-Green is Sasha on the hit show.  She also loves to update her fan base (also known as #TeamSasha) on what is going on.  Here is a tweet from her twitter account:

One of my personal favorite follows on Twitter and Instagram is Josh McDermitt.  He portrays Eugene on The Walking Dead but is also known for his time on Last Comic Standing.  His humor comes through well on his social media accounts, as shown here:

Daryl Dixon is one of the most popular characters on the show.  He is played by Norman Reedus, but always seems to use the moniker “bigbaldhead”.  Here is a photo from his Instagram account of his arrival in Georgia of the giant peach in Gaffney, South Carolina:

Then you have the adorable photos of castmates reuniting and getting ready to film.  This is from Josh McDermitt’s Instagram account and includes Alanna Masterson.  You’ll remember Masterson as Tara (hopefully):

So, actors on The Walking Dead seem to love a couple really important things.  They love their fans and really seem to love the GIANT peach in Gaffney, South Carolina. For those of you who are curious, it’s called the Peachoid and has quite an interesting history.

You can’t blame them though.  That peach is super cool.
