Chandler Riggs: A Personal Look At Carl Grimes

You can learn a lot about a person from an interview.  You can learn even more when the person being interviewed is honest and forthright.  Recently, actor Chandler Riggs went to his ask.fm page and answered a TON of questions from fans.  Some of the answers were surprising while others were heart warming.

Here are some of the highlights from the conversation:

  • Chandler doesn’t know how much money he makes.  Seriously, he doesn’t.  He says his parents handle all the financial parts of his life, but he does know he makes a pretty good amount of cash.
  • On a scale from 1-10, he considers himself to have a weirdness level of OVER 9000!  I loved this answer.  Not only is it a cool DragonBall reference, but it shows his sense of humor as well.
  • Chandler Riggs and girlfriend Hana Hayes. from his Instagram account.

He is dating a girl named Hana Hayes. He worked with Hana on the film “Mercy” and has known her for over a year now, but has been dating her for around 2 months.

  • He aspires to go to college. Chandler Riggs sounds like a kid with his head on straight.  He wants to attend UCLA when he gets older.  Currently, he is only in 9th grade.
  • Chandler claims he is currently 5’4″ tall.  But you know how people are.  Always trying to convince people they’re an inch or two taller than they really are.
  • Spoilers will NOT be given on his ask page.  Too many people try to get info about the show on there.  He always laughs it off and gives out no real information.
  • He is not allowed to follow fans on social media.  His parents are pretty strict about that.  I don’t blame them though…there are plenty of weirdos out there.
  • And no, he doesn’t know if Norman Reedus has a girlfriend.  It is surprising how much he seems to get asked that.  Some folks are obsessed, I guess.
