Guests For First Talking Dead Episode Of Season 5 Announced

When The Walking Dead makes its return to the small screen this Sunday, you knew that The Talking Dead wasn’t far behind.

If you’re not familiar with The Talking Dead, here’s the lowdown on the show.  Chris Hardwick acts as the show’s host and usually has at least one person associated with The Walking Dead and usually a celebrity or two that is knowledgeable about the goings on in the show.  It is an interesting look at the episode the just aired, dissecting the episode and then wondering what will happen next.

For the first episode of The Talking Dead for season 5, The Talking Dead and the folks at AMC are pulling out all the stops, bringing out some of the biggest guests they’ve ever had.  Here is the current lineup of guests:

Scott M. Gimple

  • Gimple is an Executive Producer, Writer, and Show Runner for The Walking Dead.  He quite possibly the most important man to the hit AMC television show.  Inside his head are all the secrets of what will happen in season 5 and ideas of what the future will hold for the series.  He’s always a fun guest on The Talking Dead.

Greg Nicotero

  • As an Executive Producer, Director, and Special Effects Supervisor, Greg Nicotero is responsible for most of the excellent action sequences that you see on the show.  His insights into how scenes are shot and the special effects are pulled off are valuable to a show like this.

Conan O’Brien

  • Conan O’Brien is the host of his own TBS talk show titled “Conan”.  He was formerly the host of “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”.  He is a comedy genius that has a long history of successful comedy writing and performing.  He should provide some comedy to an otherwise serious show.

With that all-star cast, the first Talking Dead of season 5 looks to be a cant-miss program.  Make sure you tune in on Sunday, October 12th at 10 pm EST, immediately following The Walking Dead on AMC.
