The Walking Dead 504: Best Quotes From Slabtown

facebooktwitterreddit

In Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, we were treated to several great quotes about Grady Memorial Hospital, built on the site of Slabtown.  There were several intense exchanges of dialogue during this episode, but here are six of my personal favorites:

"“The more I take, the more I owe, right?” – Beth, to Dr. Edwards about her debt to the folks at the Slabtown hospital"

Sounds like Beth won’t be eating a lot of dinner in that hospital.

"“If we hadn’t saved you, you’d be one of them right now. So you owe us.” – Officer Dawn, to Beth after she wakes up in the hospital"

But just how much does she owe?

"“They think I’m scrawny. They think I’m weak. But they don’t know s**t about me.” – Noah, to Beth about the folks at Slabtown"

He is a bit scrawny, but that doesn’t mean that he’s a wimp.

"“Every sacrifice we make needs to be for the greater good.” – Officer Dawn Lerner"

What is this ‘greater good’ that she is speaking of?  Is that good for everyone, or just her?

"“I’m keeping us all going here. That is not a small thing. It’s taken a lot to get us here, Beth. And I believe what we had before all of this isn’t over. And when we’re finally rescued, when this nightmare ends, we’re gonna need to rebuild.” -Officer Dawn Lerner"

Does she really believe that the nightmare will end?

"“Some people just aren’t made for this life, and that’s okay. As long as they go take advantage of the one’s who are. – Officer Dawn Lerner, to Beth"

Just like Dawn is taking advantage of the folks they “rescue” to do the dirty work in the hospital.
