Will Consumed Flash Back To Carol’s Prison Body Burnings?
By Adam Carlson
It’s always nice when you’re watching an episode of The Walking Dead for a flashback to be remind you of something that happened in the past. Whether it was something small, like seeing Lizzie’s mutilated rabbit in the woods, or big like when the group returned to the department store in Atlanta, it reminds us of how far the adventure has come for all these characters.
WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW
From the looks of the UK promo for the upcoming episode of The Walking Dead titled Consumed, we’ll get another of these kind of looks in this episode. But it also raises a couple questions that might be answered in that episode.
In case you missed the promo, here it is:
As you can see in the video, there is a flashback to what appears to be the prison. Carol is standing in front of a raging fire with a rag over her mouth. You can tell this is a flashback because she’s wearing the red tank top that she had at the prison back in season 4 and not the tan shirt and brown jacket from after she was kicked out of the group.
While we now know that we will learn more about why Carol burned the bodies of Karen and David, there are a couple more questions that should be raised about this situation on The Walking Dead. Will this flashback happen because she’s telling Daryl about what she did? Or was Daryl there with her, helping her burn the bodies when it all happened?
Either way, it should make for great and interesting television when The Walking Dead: Consumed airs Sunday night on AMC.
