Have you ever wanted to give a personalized gift from a celebrity like The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus? That is exactly what the folks over at giveStars are trying to accomplish with their fundraising campaign to start their business. Right now, giveStars is trying to get their business off the ground and could use the help of people pre-ordering their personalized cards now in anticipation of the first wave of cards scheduled to be sent out in October of 2015.
Here is a description of giveStars from their official YouTube page:
"“giveStars.com is launching a charity revolution! Follow us on Twitter @givestars for updates on our amazing new venture! Voiced by celebrities, Made by you. You now have the ability to send someone you love, someone they love.”"
The list of celebrities that have agreed to partake in the giveStars project is impressive. Here is a short list of some of the stars that have agreed to be a part of the project:
- Norman Reedus
- Aaron Paul
- Olivia Munn
- Vanessa Hudgens
- Russell Peters
- Seth Green
- Ted Danson
- And More!
All of the profit from these cards will go to the charity of the celebrity’s choice. For example, Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul will have the profits from his cards go to The Kind Campaign and Fergie will have her profits go to amfAR.
Although giveStars won’t be ready to start creating and delivering the personalized cards until late 2015, now would be a great time to get a discount on your future purchases through them and help the business get off the ground.
