Walking Dead ‘Cobalt’ Will Start Filming Soon

The Walking Dead Companion Series “Cobalt” is expected to start their filming soon. The show is expected to show during The Walking Dead’s off-schedule time. The show will be hoping to increase the fan base with a different version of the Walking Dead airing all the time.
There hasn’t been any news of late for the show. The filming is supposed to take place in Los Angeles . There has also been talk about filming taking place in Pennsylvania.The show could film the pilot in Los Angeles and then take the rest of the filming in Pennsylvania to keep some of the filming costs down. We still are waiting to find out more details.
The show is expected to have a whole new cast of characters. Robert Kirkman shot down a rumor of the spinoff having ties to some of the major characters of the original series.
"“I can say that it will be another group of characters, surviving in another part of the world. And it’s not going to use any of the core cast from our show. The show will continue uninterrupted, as if the other show doesn’t exist. But the other show will kind of be its own entity.”"

The roles for Cody Cabrera and Andrea Chapman still have not been casted. With filming set to start, I am sure that we will find out more casting information for those parts soon .
