Kim Dickens Cast in Leading Role, Gareth’s New Film, Show Ratings and more!
Cast News:
– Kim Dickens, highly acclaimed and talented actress of Deadwood, Gone Girl and Sons of Anarchy fame has been cast as the female lead for upcoming Walking Dead spinoff Cobalt. She will star as Nancy Tomkins, rumored to be a mother and school guidance counselor character with an edge. Deadwood’s Joanie Stubbs will no question deliver an excellent performance.
– Andrew J. West, who starred as Gareth the leader of Terminus in the Walking Dead has a new film out. West is the lead in movie Walter, which premiered in Palm Springs recently. The film’s homepage asks the question ‘Heaven or Hell. Do you know where you’re going? Walter does’.
– Chad L. Coleman, who plays Tyreese on the Walking Dead, partied in Las Vegas to celebrate New Year’s Eve. He reportedly was spotted at the Foxtail Nightclub at SLS Las Vegas. Singer Robin Thicke, boxer Manny Paquiao and UFC fighter Tito Ortiz were also in attendance.
– Theodus Crane, who played Big Tiny in Season 3 of the Walking Dead is performing standup comedy at the upcoming Central Pennsylvania Comic Con. Crane’s show will take place on March 14th at 8pm. The former Walking Dead cast member will also be available for photos and autographs. Crane portrayed a prison inmate in the first two episodes of Season 3, ‘Seed’ and ‘Sick’.

Norman Reedus News:
– Norman Reedus has confirmed during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) that Boondock Saints 3 is in the works. The original Boondock Saints film was a cult hit upon its release in 1999.
– Norman Reedus was recently discovered to have been in Radiohead’s ‘Fake Plastic Trees’ music video in 1995. You can spot Reedus in 2:43-2:46, 3:05-3:06, and 4:19-4:21 of the hit single.
Walking Dead Ratings:
– The Walking Dead’s midseason finale “Coda” scored a 7.6 rating, scoring around 14.8 million viewers and 9.6 million viewers in the 18-49 age demographic. According to TVbytheNumbers, the Walking Dead is the number one show on television among the 18-49 demographic beating the NFL which held the honor from 2007.
Talking Dead News:
– Talking Dead will be getting bumped by Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul during next season’s premiere. Accordding to host Chris Hardwick, Talking Dead will be showing at 11pm on February 8, 2015 when new episodes of the Walking Dead returns to the air.
Walking Dead Tourism:
– San Francisco Chronicle reports that the set location for Walking Dead’s Woodbury is a popular spot for tourism. The town’s mainstreet actually named Senoia in real life, is located in downtown Senoia, Georgia about 35 miles south of Atlanta. A new gift store named Woodbury Shoppe has opened to pacify the hordes of Walking Dead fans.

– Issue #119 of the Walking Dead is now available.
