New Walking Dead Trailer For Season 5B Is Intense

A new trailer for the second half of The Walking Dead’s fifth season dropped today on AMC’s YouTube page.

This video is much different from many of the other promotional videos that AMC has put out for The Walking Dead.  Instead of focusing on fast paced action, many cutscenes and a lot of drama, this video slows things down for the group and focuses on their survival as a group.

Here is the Season 5B trailer for The Walking Dead from AMC’s official YouTube page:

In the description of the video, it says the following:

"“Surviving together is all that matters.” Don’t miss the return of The Walking Dead, Sun., Feb. 8th at 9/8c. For more The Walking Dead videos:http://goo.gl/qJOZ6n"

And here is the dialogue from the video that sounds as though it is spoken by Rick Grimes:

"“Surviving.  Surviving together is all that matters.  It’s all that matters.”"

It is such a simple, but powerful video.  No enemies are seen in the video.  No human threats, no walkers, no obstacles.  Just the survivors fighting for their lives.

So far, we know that the group of survivors will be on the move again, after deciding not to stay at Grady Memorial Hospital and having Father Gabriel’s church overrun by walkers.  Most likely, they will be following the path on the map that Abraham gave Rick earlier in season 5, and that could allow Morgan, who later found the map, to catch up the group.

Right now, there is very little out as far as spoilers for the second half of season 5 of The Walking Dead, but as soon as we know more, we’ll be sure to pass the information along.
