Rick Grimes in new Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer ‘Surviving Together’

New Walking Dead Season 5 Trailer

– A teaser trailer for February 8th’s premiere has been released by AMC. The one minute video is narrated by Rick Grimes, “Surviving. Surviving together is all that matters”. The Season 5 trailer has the cast running through fog-filled woods in action mode. Unseen antagonists on the horizon.

Sarah Wayne Callies, Lori Grimes Interview

– Sarah Wayne Callies who played Rick Grimes’ wife Lori on the Walking Dead, was interviewed by Hollywood Reporter. Callies mentioned that Walking Dead fans approach her, “I learned that people have what is either the temerity or the lack of good manners or both to walk up to a complete stranger in the middle of the day and go, “I f—ing hate you.” [Laughs.]”

Callies stated she is proud of the Lori character and that it contrasted from being loved on Prison Break. She remarked her character on Prision Break was angelic-like.

The Governor in Scream Magazine

– David Morrissey, The Governor, is featured in UK-based Scream Magazine this month. The infamous Issue #28 is available for purchase at this link.

Walking Dead Cast January Birthdays

– Happy Birthday to Norman Reedus and Lauren Cohan, who’s birthdays are only one day seperated on January 6 and 7th respectively. Reedus and Cohan thanked fans for their birthday wishes on Twitter.

Walking Dead Fake Autographs

PSA/DNA, an authograph verification service has named the Walking Dead on their list of Top 10 fake autographs of entertainment and historical figures for the past year. The Walking Dead cast was number 10 on the list of forged Autographs.

According to PSA/DNA, the list is:

“1. The Beatles
2. Elvis Presley
3. Neil Armstrong
4. John F. Kennedy
5. Michael Jackson
6. Marilyn Monroe
7. Jim Morrison
8. Jimi Hendrix
9. The Rolling Stones
10. The Walking Dead cast”

Walking Dead Virtual Reality

– According to Variety.com, Samsung has signed Walking Dead executive producer David Alpert, to be apart of their new Milk VR service. Alpert will develop creative entertainment for Samsung’s upcoming virtual reality headset.

It’s not confirmed Alpert’s Milk VR project will feature the Walking Dead or its generous assortment of zombies. Alpert stated fans should “stay tuned” to press members. Milk VR however, will offer titles from Skybound Entertainment which is run by Alpert and Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. There’s a good chance fans will experience the show on the new technology.

Talking Dead News

– Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher on January 9th, 2015. Hardwick enjoyed his time on the show and posted a photo with special guest Jay Leno on Instagram.

– The Walking Dead’s official Twitter page and Robert Kirkman have confirmed Talking Dead will premiere after the series debut of Better Call Saul on February 8th 2015.

Walking Dead Ratings

– The Walking Dead’s midseason finale “Coda” scored a 7.6 rating, scoring around 14.8 million viewers and 9.6 million viewers in the 18-49 age demographic according to Tvbythenumbers. The next episode will premiere on February 8, 2015. It will be written by showrunner Scott M. Gimple and directed by Greg Nicotero.
