Josh McDermitt: Aaron Rodgers Would Be The Last Man Standing
By Adam Carlson
Josh McDermitt is best known for playing Dr. Eugene Porter on the hit AMC television show The Walking Dead. Sadly, Eugene isn’t known for being too much of a badass on the show.
During a recent interview with the Huffington Post, McDermitt spoke about the skills that it would take to survive in the zombie apocalypse, what kind of person would be best suited, and even named one individual that he thought would be the final survivor. Here’s what he said:
"“If you want to work on it now, start working on your rotator cuff, like building up your strength there. I think NFL quarterbacks are gonna be the best survivalists in this world because they just have strong arms, and they’re gonna just be able to like destroy people. Put a football in their hands, and they’re just gonna crush. Aaron Rodgers is gonna be the last man standing. I just know it.”"
For those of you who aren’t big sports fans, Aaron Rodgers is currently the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. He was the Super Bowl XLV MVP and has been a 4 time Pro Bowl selection and 3 time All-Pro player. Rodgers is known for his excellent skills for throwing accuracy and power, two things that could really come in handy during the zombie apocalypse.
Aaron Rodgers might not ever have to endure an onslaught of walkers, but if he ever did, Josh McDermitt would most likely want the star quarterback on his survival team. Hopefully, McDermitt would be much more useful against walkers than his character Eugene is.
