The Walking Dead Midseason Premiere Clip Breakdown
By Josh Hill
The midseason premiere of The Walking Dead is right around the corner but what does the first two minutes of the episode mean?
With The Walking Dead returning this weekend from it’s winter hiatus, fans all over are looking forward to what the midseason premiere episode will bring. Thanks to the fine folks over at AMC, we’ve been given our first look at this week’s upcoming episode of The Walking Dead and it looks fantastic.
But what does it all mean, and does it give us any serous insight into the remaining seven episodes after it in the season?
Here’s your first look at the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC:
We’ve all seen this by now, which makes actually seeing it not that big of a deal, but breaking it down and trying to figure out where it all leads is something lots of fans are doing at the moment. This doesn’t seem to give too much away and it certainly doesn’t look like it’s happy in any way — but what did you expect?
What we can gather from this is that there will be a theological theme the rest of this season in that characters are transforming in a way we haven’t seen before. It’s also a hint to the looks back at the past we will have and the time jumps that will explore the genesis of where we came from and where we will go with The Walking Dead.
It’s a fascinating clip, and even if you don’t read way into like some will, you can still watch it and get super hyped about the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead returns this Sunday night at 10pm ET on AMC.
