Walking Dead showrunner Robert Kirkman says that Rick and Morgan’s relationship will be the spine for season 6

The Walking Dead season 5 finale left us with Morgan walking into the Alexandria Safe Zone to join the rest of the group. He was going to run into Rick all over again and he is in a zen like state of mind. When he walks in, his introduction is Rick shooting and killing Pete in front of all the people. That is one hell of an introduction for people.

What will we see from both of them in Season 6? How will Morgan and Rick interact next season?

Showruunner Robert Kirkman had a few comments on the relationship between the two and what it would look like in Season 6.

“Now it’s a very different Rick and a very different Morgan who are going to have a completely different relationship,” Kirkman reportedly said. “And it’s the questions of how they’re going to interact, how they’re going to work together — if they’re going to work together — and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of season six.”

We will see a lot from Morgan and Rick in the season. We will see how their relationship works out after the crazy scene at the end of Season 5. There is so much that they can build on that relationship and they will milk it during Season 6. Kirkman says that Morgan-Rick storyline will be the spine of the season, but there is still so much that we will have to keep our eyes on as well.

We still need to see these Wolves make their appearance to the Alexandria Safe Zone. We still need to see how the whole community will work with Reg and Pete now dead. How will Deanna now react now that she allowed her husband to get killed and she allowed Rick to take out Pete. There is so much to see and so much time till we actually get to see it. Until then…. we wait.
