The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad Are Crossing Over, Kind Of
By Josh Hill
The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad are two of AMC’s biggest shows, and two of their biggest stars will be meeting on the big screen this summer.
This summer will be a long one for fans of The Walking Dead, as the wait for the new season of the show is only beginning. We have at least six months to go until the series returns, and even the arrival of Fear The Walking Dead might not help totally hold us all over.
But if you want to see The Walking Dead in action this summer, there’s still a way you may be able to get your fix. While The Walking Dead is off the air temporarily, Breaking Bad fans are in a world where their show no longer exists in anything other than re-runs.
That’s not stopping the two shows from colliding, in a way, this summer on the big screen. While the two shows themselves will be laying dormant, Norman Reedus and Aaron Paul are going to be starring in the same movie this summer.
Triple 9 is a film that is gaining a lot of hype as the cast is more star studded than just having Reedus and Paul in action. Other Hollywood stars like Casey Affleck, Kate Winselt and Shia LaBeouf will be starring in the film as well, which only makes this that much more interesting.
Of course, this isn’t the traditional crossover we’d hope for, but it’s about as good as it’s going to get. Plus, you can never complain about an opportunity to see Daryl badass it up on the big screen.
Triple 9 hits theaters on April 9th.
