New Fear The Walking Dead Image Released (Photo)

Fear The Walking Dead is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for more teases and introductions to new cast members.

So far, we still know very little about Fear The Walking Dead, AMC’s upcoming spinoff series to The Walking Dead, but we’re starting to learn more and more as each passes between now and the premiere of the series in late summer.

We still don’t even know the exact premiere date, but that’s not stopping fans from getting hyped about the series and what it represents this summer as far as filling the void left by the original series being off the air. One of the teases for the new series has come in the form of a new official image from the show.

Thanks to Variety, here’s our first official look at Alycia Debnam-Carey, who is playing a character named Ashley.

She told Variety that among the things she’s been warned about with being connected to The Walking Dead universe is Comic Con and how crazy that can get.

"“I don’t know that anyone is prepared for the fans of ‘TWD.’ They are some of the most loyal fans of any show on television right now.”"

It’s truly an honor to be involved in The Walking Dead, as once you’re in you’re in for life. Even smaller characters who have been killed off years ago on the original series have a following at comic book conventions and that’s something that Alycia Debnam-Carey can fully expect in her future.

It could also propel her to stardom — something she’s probably looking forward to more than being at Comic Con.

Fear The Walking Dead will premiere later this summer on AMC.
