When Will Fear The Walking Dead Premiere?
By Josh Hill
Fear The Walking Dead will be premiering this summer, but when exactly will it be coming to AMC?
AMC will be premiering it’s spinoff to The Walking Dead this summer, but fans have been waiting since March to hear any progress n an actual premiere date. The ‘summer’ premiere date that has been attached the show is super vague at best and it is something that fans have leaned on only until they find out more.
Well, now we have.
Robert Kirkman has teased the premiere date and while he hasn’t given an exact date, we’ve been given a lot closer date than we’ve been given before. According to Kirkman, Fear The Walking Dead will be premiering sometime in August.
It would have been nice to be given an exact date for the premiere of the series, but that will come in due time. After all the premiere date for the show is about two months away and that means a concrete date needs to be hammered down soon.
We have seen shows like True Detective and Hannibal wait on announcing premiere dates this year, but both of those shows have already announced their premiere dates and are ready to premiere their shows within the next month. That won’t be the case for Fear The Walking Dead, but the August premiere date is significant for one major reason: it will probably overlap with the season premiere of The Walking Dead.
Unless the show premieres in early August, the series has a chance of running into October and the premiere of The Walking Dead Season 6.
That’s not at all a bad thing either, and it’s looking like we’re about to have a lot of Walking Dead in our lives — which is perfect.
