Fear The Walking Dead is right around the corner from premiering, but the series keeps adding to it’s cast for late season episodes.

We are just months away from the premiere of Fear The Walking Dead, which is scheduled to premiere later this summer at a sill unknown date. Many speculate that the series will premiere in late July or early August, but an announcement won’t likely come until Comic Con.

That means we could see Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead overlap in their runtimes — and there’s nothing at all wrong with that.

What is interesting about the unknown premiere date for Fear The Walking Dead is the fact that the series is still adding to it’s first season cast. Most recently, House of Cards and The Returned actress Sandrine Holt has been added to the cast. Her role on the show appears to be as Dr. Bethany Exner, a character we still know little about but have faith in being another strong addition to the cast.

Filming hasn’t wrapped on Fear The Walking Dead yet, which is fueling speculation that the series could be headed for a late, late summer premiere that boarders on a fall premiere. There’s little chance that the show premieres after Labor Day, but we shouldn’t expect the show to come on the air anytime soon.

The cast of the show is strong though, so any doubts fans might be having about the show’s slow production process can fall back on knowing that the series will be stacked with talent and should deliver.

When it delivers is still unknown, but as long as talents like Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens and others are part of the cast then there isn’t much to complain about.

Fear The Walking Dead will premiere later this summer on AMC.
