The Walking Dead: Now We Know Why Daryl And Beth Had Such Great Chemistry

The Walking Dead had some pretty interesting chemistry between Daryl and Beth — and now the real world explains why. 

When The Walking Dead was airing the final half of season four and the first half of season five, fans noted an uptick in chemistry between Daryl and Beth. It was hard to put our fingers on the exact relationship that they had, but the two definitely had something going on.

As it turns out, there was a pretty good reason behind why the two were such an interesting pair on the series.

According to Us Weekly, Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney are dating — which explains the chemistry on the series that we all saw between the two.

"“They had a connection early on in the show,” says a source close to the duo, “but the romance developed recently. They’re still pretty guarded about it.”"

This is kind of like in high school when you thought two people would make a cute couple and then you realized they were dating. It’s not at all relevant to the show moving forward, but now that we know for sure that the two are dating and their relationship was kindled on the set of the show, it makes it special.

It’s a little creepy since Beth is supposed to be a teenager in the series and Daryl very much is not. That’s where the show being fake plays to advantages.

For a show that is all about death and depression, we need to take pause to realize that a rose has blossomed out of the concrete. What happens away from the show is private to those individuals, but this is like watching two really good friends start dating and Walking Dead fans have a weird place that makes sense in this relationship.

It’s none of our business, at the end of the day, but beautiful things happen thanks to The Walking Dead and this is all the definitive proof that you need.
