The Walking Dead Season 6: Leaked Comic-Con Trailer
By Adam Carlson
The Walking Dead’s trailer for season 6 was scheduled to be released tomorrow during the Wizard World 2015 Comic-Con International, but some fans got a video of the trailer that seems to have leaked to the internet.
I apologize for the poor quality of the video, but here’s a look at what the announced trailer will be according to the YouTube account of The Walker Dead:
As you can see from the video, there seems to be a lot of intense action going on during season 6. Plans will be made to protect Alexandria from the hordes of walkers that appear to be surrounding the community. In addition, it looks like there will be some resistance from the people of Alexandria when Rick takes command.
"“How many more of us have to die before we do something? Rick is dangerous!”"
That seems to be the theme of season 6. The two groups of survivors will clash while the walls of their community are continually threatened by the undead and, of course, The Wolves. There’s even a scene from the video that shows Daryl appearing to stand up to Rick in the streets of the town. Not to mention that there will be the clash between Morgan’s idea of survival and that of Rick Grimes.
As an added bonus, it looks like we’re getting “Crazy Rick” back. We all remember when Rick lost it with the Claimers when Joe and his group were going to kill Daryl and Michonne in front of Rick as well as rape his son. In this teaser, it is refreshing to see this version of Rick again.
As always, the trailer creates a great feeling of intensity and intrigue. Plus, since the season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead isn’t until October, a video like this reminds us of what will be in store for us when the best survival drama on television returns to AMC.
NOTE: The official trailer will be released during tomorrow’s Comic-Con and will be much better quality. When that video is available, we will also bring you that version.
The Walking Dead is set to return this October on AMC. Stay tuned to Undead Walking for more details as they become available.
