Fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead know Norman Reedus for playing the rough redneck Daryl Dixon, but now they can see him in a small role in a popular film.

According to an article on the Inquisitr website, Norman Reedus plays a part in the new ‘Vacation’ movie.  If you aren’t familiar with the film, you likely have seen other films in the National Lampoon’s series.  Vacation is the newest installment of the National Lampoon film series, focusing on Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) taking his family on a vacation to Walley World, just like he had with his father in the first film.

The Toronto Sun says that Norman Reedus’ character is “a creepy trucker with a teddy bear stuck to the front of his big rig”.  If you watch the trailer for the film’s Red Band trailer, you can see the truck that the Toronto Sun is talking about featured all over in it.

Here is the trailer from the official Comedy Central YouTube account:

Vacation features several other big stars other than Ed Helms and Norman Reedus, included in the cast are Christina Applegate, Chris Hemsworth, Chevy Chase, Charlie Day, and many, many more.  The move hit theatres on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.  So far, the film is getting lukewarm reviews, but comedy movies are always very subjective when it comes to enjoyment.

Personally, I was interested in seeing Vacation because I really enjoyed the original movie and a couple of the sequels.  The addition of Norman Reedus to the movie’s cast, even though it is likely in a very small role, makes the film a little more appealing.

You can catch Norman Reedus when he returns to The Walking Dead as Daryl Dixon on October 11, 2015 for the zombie survival drama’s 6th season.  You can also catch him in the upcoming films “Air”, “Triple 9” and “Sky”.  It looks like it’s a good time to be a fan of Mr. Reedus.
