2 days of Reedus

Recently we let you know that Norman Reedus will attend Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con for 2 days instead of the originally scheduled single day.  But Norman Reedus is not the only big name Walking Dead actor to be appearing in Chicago very soon.

On August 20th through August 23rd at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, known to many Chicagoans as Rosemont Horizon, there will be zombie themed panels, artists and 4 other actors in addition to Reedus that Walking Dead fans will be lining up to meet!

Actors

  • Michael Rooker, aka Merle Dixon, the loveable big mouth.
  • Norman Reedus, aka Daryl Dixon, Merle’s introverted brother, reluctant hero and fan favorite.
  • Jon Bernthal, aka Shane, Rick’s best friend turned enemy.
  • Scott Wilson, aka Hershel Greene, the farmer who believed the walkers to be sick, wanted Rick off his farm and then became the father figure to the group.
  • Seth Gilliam, aka Father Gabriel, the cowardly priest who is trying to figure out how to survive outside of the church where he was sheltered for so long with his thoughts and his sins.

Merle at Kick Off the Con!

There will also be a special Kick off the Con event in Schaumburg for press and fans on Wednesday night from 6:30-9:30. Michael Rooker will be in attendance there.

I will be attending the Kick off the con event and the Comic-Con itself representing FanSided’s Undead Walking!  I’m thrilled to be attending my first con. I will have tons of great news and pics to share with you! I look forward to covering Wizard World Chicago for you!
