The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead executive producer, Gale Anne Hurd, was honored at the 4th annual Women Making History Awards yesterday. Fear the Walking Dead‘s own Kim Dickens presented Gale Anne Hurd as an honoree. The event took place over at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles on Saturday morning. Proceeds will reportedly go to help establish a National Women’s History Museum in Washington D.C. The museum currently exists in online form, and can be located at this link.
Gale Anne Hurd has served as Executive Producer of The Walking Dead since the show’s inception in 2010. She is credited with 67 episodes to her name. Likewise with Fear the Walking Dead, where Hurd has produced all 6 episodes of the first season currently in progress. Today marks the fourth episode of the new series.

One of Hurd’s recent moves at Valhalla includes picking up the spec script to ‘The Nameless’ by Chris Billett in 2011.
