A regular on FX’s American Horror Story made his first appearance on Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, but is best known for being Twisty the Clown.

Fans of American Horror Story already know Major Dodson, who plays Sam Anderson on The Walking Dead, from his role during “Freak Show”, but now another actor from the popular scary program made his way over to AMC’s zombie survival drama.

John Carroll Lynch became one of the most popular actors on American Horror Story: Freak Show when he took on the role of Twisty the Clown.  This Halloween, if you went out to a party or even to trick-or-treat, you likely saw someone dressed up as the horrific killer.

He didn’t tone things down for the current season of American Horror Story: Hotel, either.  Currently you can also see Lynch playing the real-life serial killer John Wayne Gacy.

For fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead, we got a treat during Sunday’s episode when John Carroll Lynch was Eastman, the man responsible for breaking down Morgan Jones and helping him return to sanity and find peace.  Although he wasn’t wearing clown makeup, he did a fantastic job reeling in people with his stories of family and loss while being one with the universe.

Strangely enough, Lennie James (the man who plays Morgan) isn’t the first cast member from The Walking Dead that Lynch’s characters have kept in a cage.  During American Horror Story: Freak Show, Twisty the Clown held a young boy and a young lady in a cell in his trailer.  That young boy was played by Major Dodson.

You can see John Carroll Lynch on FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel on Wednesday, November 4th and you can see The Walking Dead’s fifth episode of season 6 on Sunday, November 8, 2015.  Check your local listings for time and availability.
