Several interesting preview panels for upcoming issue #149 of The Walking Dead’s comic book, titled ‘The Devil On Your Shoulder’ have been released.

The pages of The Walking Dead‘s comic book have been absolutely crazy the past couple months. With the massacre from The Whisperers and the unlikely alliance between two bitter foes, things are heating up to a point that will result in an event that will change the franchise forever.

When we left off Lydia was being escorted to the Hilltop Colony for her own safety by Andrea and Carl Grimes. Despite some conflict on the way, the major goal was to shield the young lady from the hostility of Alexandria following Alpha’s vicious and horrifying attack on the residents of the community.

Thanks to some preview panels of issue #149 from the folks at Skybound, we now know that the three will indeed reach the Hilltop Colony, but things might not be as safe there as they seem.

Here are the panels that were provided in the preview:

In addition to the panels, Skybound provided the following information about The Walking Dead issue #149, ‘The Devil On Your Shoulder’:

While this issue will likely be a set-up for some crazy stuff in issue #150, it still shouldn’t be missed. It seems as though we’ll have quite a bit of discussion between Lydia and Carl about their future and the mention of Sophia in the last panel is an interesting development.

Don’t miss The Walking Dead #149: ‘The Devil On Your Shoulder’ when it hits newsstands on December 9, 2015.
