One of the stars of AMC’s The Walking Dead promises fans that the season 5 midseason premiere will be intense and everyone will be ‘covered in blood’.

The Walking Dead’s midseason finale left us all wondering what would happen next. So many people in Alexandria are in danger and, as fans, we are all left waiting until February 14, 2016 with bated breath.

According to a recent interview on the Entertainment Weekly website, Andrew Lincoln, the man who plays Rick Grimes on AMC’s hit zombie survival drama The Walking Dead, the wait for the show’s return will be well worth it. In fact, he believes it might be the craziest episode that the cast and crew have ever filmed.

Here is what Lincoln said in the interview about episode 609:

"“It may be the most ambitious, and the most epic and just insane, emotional, action-overload we’ve ever attempted. When we shot it, it was pretty much all night shoots, and everybody went mad in that episode, and I can’t wait to see the results, because it was bananas. We were all covered in blood and screaming, and it was like nothing I’d ever witnessed before. So you thought 8 was intense? Wait for 9.”"

Ooh. Covered in blood and screaming! It’s been a while since we’ve had an epic scene like that on The Walking Dead.

With so many situations currently being so deadly on the show, all that blood and all the screaming could be because of just about any character on the show, whether it’s the lone member of the Wolves, Denise, Glenn and Enid, one of the Grimes or Anderson family, or even someone attempting to help them. No matter what happens, it sounds like it will be an event that will not soon be forgotten.

One thing is for certain, fans of The Walking Dead will be in for a treat when the show returns from its midseason break on February 14, 2016. It will be an episode that you won’t want to miss.
