The Walking Dead: Visiting Scott Wilson can pay dividends

Going to comic and television conventions and meeting your favorite actors, including The Walking Dead’s Scott Wilson, could be good for your finances.

Scott Wilson, known for his role as Hershel Greene on the hit zombie survival drama The Walking Dead, has been making the rounds of conventions and television shows to help promote his new television show Damien. However, one of the stories that he told during a recent interview in New Orleans with WDSU NBC is something that might be relevant to people all over the United States.

As of this writing, the Powerball lottery jackpot is over $900 million dollars. But what does that have to do with The Walking Dead, Scott Wilson or comic conventions?

Wilson told the story of a lucky couple during his talk with WDSU’s Farrah Reyna.

"“Last year, I was here (New Orleans Wizard World) and someone came to see me..and his wife. After they left, on the way home they stopped and bought a lottery ticket. They won a million dollars. So, just saying…”"

Reyna put the pieces of the puzzle together and urged fans to get out there to Comic Con and see The Walking Dead‘s Hershel and then buy a lotto ticket.

"“Go to Comic Con today. Go see Mr. Wilson here and then stop and get a lottery ticket because [Wilson] could be the good karma we need to win millions.”"

The Powerball drawing will take place at 11 pm EST today. Hopefully, one of the lucky fans of Mr. Scott Wilson will turn out to be the winner of the major prize to keep the fortune of visiting him at conventions alive.
