Sarah Wayne Callies stars in The Other Side of the Door

Former AMC The Walking Dead actress Sarah Wayne Callies stars in the upcoming film The Other Side of the Door, set to creep out moviegoers on March 11, 2016.

Fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead know Sarah Wayne Callies from her role as Lori Grimes on the hit zombie survival drama, but soon they’ll be able to see her on the big screen in the upcoming film The Other Side of the Door.

While Lori always seemed to struggle with keeping tabs on her son Carl on The Walking Dead, her role in the upcoming 20th Century Fox film will find Callies playing the role of a woman named Sarah. Sarah was part of an accident in which her son Oliver lost his life. Desperate to speak to him one more time, she learns of a way it can be done, but it could come with a very high cost.

"“A family lives an idyllic existence abroad until a tragic accident takes the life of their young son. The inconsolable mother learns of an ancient ritual that will bring him back to say a final goodbye. She travels to an ancient temple, where a door serves as a mysterious portal between two worlds. But when she disobeys a sacred warning to never open that door, she upsets the balance between life and death.”"

As if that doesn’t sound creepy enough, the international trailer for The Other Side of the Door was released recently, and it appears as though this could be a very creepy movie and help showcase more of what we loved from Callies on The Walking Dead.
