The Walking Dead 610: The Next World preview videos

AMC’s The Walking Dead will come back with another new zombie-filled episode on Sunday titled “The Next World” which will air on February 21, 2016.

Fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead are still catching their breath following a high-octane midseason premiere that left fans with their jaws laying on the floor. Now, there are 6 more days until the hit zombie survival drama returns with episode 610, titled “The Next World”.

There is a lot left to do in Alexandra after Sunday’s episode. A massive number of walker bodies are laying everywhere, there is a big section of the wall that needs to be replaced after the tower is cleaned up, and people have to mourn those lost as well as deal with their wounds.

The survivors will also need to figure out their food situation, security, and defenses, but will they have the time and the resources to get that done? How long will it take to clean up the mess inside the walls? How will the townspeople deal with the death of more of their survivors?

First, there is the clip that aired immediately following Sunday’s episode. Here is that video from the official YouTube account of AMC:

In this video, Eugene Porter is talking to Daryl about picking up some items from agricultural supply stores in the area. He’s looking for some food, even if the only thing left in is sorghum. In classic Eugene fashion, there is plenty of awkwardness and information that isn’t really necessary, but gives the scene an almost comedic feel. The camera zooms out to show Rick in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, which isn’t something fans have seen a lot of in the past. The two drive off and Eugene closes the gate behind them.

Up next, we have the promo that was shown on the Story Sync following the The Walking Dead‘s midseason premiere. Here is that video, again thanks to the AMC YouTube account:

This video starts out with Rick and Daryl talking in the car, but quickly flashes to other scenes. There are some quick scenes of Rick and Daryl looking through stores and farms for supplies, but they look to pull their weapons at a gas station. That’s when the music begins sounding strange and the screen flashes, warning that something isn’t quite right. Then, Daryl has his weapon pulled, telling for someone to back up. In addition, there are scenes of Michonne drawing her sword, Daryl jumping out of a truck, Rick and Daryl running through the woods with their guns drawn, Enid hiding behind a tree, and Spencer standing outside. Plus, there is Daryl and Rick sprinting down the road. But the most cryptic thing is when it looks like Spencer needs to use his knife to do something, but a voice (likely Michonne) says “let me help you” to which he replies “you can’t”.

Don’t miss episode 610 of The Walking Dead titled “The Next World” when it airs on AMC on Sunday, February 21, 2016. It should be another great installation in what has been one of the best seasons of the series so far. Judging by these teasers, it looks as though it will hold up to the previous episodes in the season.
