Fear The Walking Dead 201: Monster reader rating and response
Last season, the characters on Fear The Walking Dead had been driven to the edge – literally – and that’s where we picked up with them again in episode 201. So what did everyone think of the first new episode of the year? Read on to find out.
At the end of a season of The Walking Dead, it can be hard to change gears and go straight into Fear The Walking Dead. It’s hard to put aside the need to known who Negan killed and concentrate on characters thousands of miles away who are only just beginning their zombie apocalypse experience. At the same time, that’s part of the fun of FTWD. For once, we know more about the threat than the characters on the show do.
Or at least we think we do. Then again, who knew that they could swim? Or is what they’re doing more… floating?
There were not an overwhelming number of people who voted in our poll for the premiere FTWD episode. When I say not an overwhelming number, it’s more like an underwhelming number. As in, 7 people voted. Come on guys! Surely more than 7 people watched the show!
Because of our extremely limited data sample, it’s hard to say exactly how most people felt about the show. 43% (3 people) gave it 4 stars, 29% (2 people) gave it 3 stars, and 14% (1 person) gave it 2 stars and 1 star, respectively. It’s not much to go on, but it appears that as Walking Dead fans, we’re split on how we feel about this new show.

It will be interesting to see who exactly is approaching Strand’s boat (which we can’t mistake for anyone else’s, now that he has reviewed The Rules of The Boat), who is “Jack” guy is, and whether Alicia is ever allowed to touch the radio again… if, indeed, they still have a radio after this Sunday night.
