The Walking Dead: Telltale’s 3rd season includes Clementine

Fans of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead series who were worried they had seen the last of Clementine can be happy knowing she won’t be forgotten about.
When The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game finished Season 2, it seemed like the series may have said goodbye to a character fans have grown to love: Clementine. Bit it appears as though fans haven’t seen the last of the tough young lady, as it has been reported that she will be a part of Season 3.

According to an interview of The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman by IGN, “We’ll be checking in on Clementine again. So we’ll be seeing her, seeing where she’s at and what’s going on with her, which is going to be great.” Honestly, the game series wouldn’t be the same without the young lady, so it’s great to hear she won’t be left behind.

Interestingly enough though, the Clementine that fans know and love might not be the same one fans get when the game returns. It sounds as though a lot of time has passed since the end of Season 2 and we may be seeing a more grown up version of the young buttkicker.
"“Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently – like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that Season 3 will be in.”"
Meanwhile, it sounds as though there may be some more Easter eggs for fans who enjoy the comic book series when Season 3 comes out as well, which is a lot of fun for gamers.
"“I think that there will be some more comic book elements that we’ll be working in in some interesting ways. I don’t want to reveal too much, but it’ll definitely go hand-in-hand with the comics a little bit more than Season 2 did.”"

There hasn’t been an official release date for Season 3 of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game, but the game is slated for a 2016 release. Considering the ending of Season 2, Telltale has a lot of explaining to do to come up with a game that can appease each of the alternate endings fans could get. Still, these games are fantastic looks into The Walking Dead’s universe and are a must-play for any fan of the zombie genre.
