The Walking Dead: McFarlane’s Color Tops Action Figures
By Susie Graham
Mcfarlane has a new series of action figures called Color Tops that includes the Red Wave collection for The Walking Dead coming out this fall.
Fans of The Walking Dead love all of the collectibles, memorabilia and merchandise to go along with our fandom. McFarlane is top of the list when it comes to action figures of our favorite characters from AMC’s zombie apocalypse drama.
A new collection of action figures is set to debut. They are 7 inches tall instead of the 5 inches like ones in the previous 9 series that you may have in your collection.

This new series is called Red Wave in the Color Tops Collection. The first 2 from The Walking Dead were revealed earlier this year. They are none other than the power couple of the series Rick Grimes and Michonne.
The Color Tops Collection includes the first action figures from the companion series Fear the Walking Dead, Travis Manawa and Madison Clark.
Just yesterday Nerdist released news of the latest prototypes for the Color Tops Collection–Daryl and Abraham.
Check out the previews of the collection, which will be available in late fall of 2016. Check with Amazon and Toy stores as season 7 starts to find preorder pricing and release dates.

What do you think of the new Color Tops? Will you start a new collection? Who would you like to see next? I’m curious to know if they are very posable or if they are meant to be more like statues.
I am a big fan of the 5 inch series. I have a feeling that they are moving toward these and halting the 5 inch action figures for now, but that’s not confirmed. We will continue to keep you aware of announcements about toys and games of interest.
