Alycia Debnam-Carey joined Jesse McCartney and Daniel Zovatto in the Talking Dead loft for discussion about this week’s Fear the Walking Dead.

Chris Hardwick dove right in and started discussing the episode with the actors. The boys were surprise guests. Daniel thinks that Jack had good intentions but is with a group who does not have such good people. Pura Vida by the way for Costa Rica from Daniel.

Jesse McCartney talked a bit about his audition process, which is similar to the stories we always hear. He had no idea about his character or who he would be playing until he got the role. His character name and audition script were fake.

Alycia wanted people to have the ambiguity of not knowing how Alicia felt about Jack. Of course, it’s unrealistic to be swept off your feet and fall for this person and she needed to get back to her family.

Daniel agreed from Jack’s point of view. He felt like Alicia joined him and maybe she’d decide to stay, but then she jumps. He thinks that it’s much more interesting to play it confusing.

Of course, it’s Talking Dead so there were polls and behind-the-scenes information and interviews, along with the In Memoriam segment and a sneak peek at next week’s episode.

Alycia was excited this week because last week’s poll had a majority result blaming her character for the pirates finding the boat and we found out tonight that Alex was the culprit. Nobody mentioned it, but that was Yvette Nicole Brown’s theory last week on Talking Dead!

Jesse McCartney talked about why he picked on Chris. He thinks that Reed just looked for the weak link or the most vulnerable person. Lorenzo James Henrie talked in a clip about how Chris didn’t want to admit how fragile he was and why he shot Reed so that’s why he lied and said he was going to turn.

A caller brought up the idea that Madison seems to pay so much attention to Nick and not Alicia. Alycia agreed with that wholeheartedly and thinks that her character is making lots of mistakes now because she is on her own and only gets attention when Nick isn’t around, but she thinks that will help her in the long run.
